This charachteristic stone and wood house was completely renovated in 2002, respecting the original architectural and structural features.  It measures about 120 square meters and it is spread over three levels, organized as follows: on the ground floor there are a bedroom, a cellar and a bathroom with shower; on the first floor there are a bedroom and a bathroom with shower; on the attic floor there is the living room with an open kitchen.
The property includes a courtyard in front of the house and an agricultural land in the immediate vicinity of about 600 square meters.

Castel San Pietro was owned by the archbishops of Milan and in 1240 passed under the jurisdiction of Como. The castle is located on a small hill near Lake Piano, now a nature reserve.
It was built in a strategic place, located at the entrance to the roads leading to Val Cavargna and Val di Rezzo. It consisted of a circle of walls with towers and entrance doors, which enclosed the highest area of ​​the town, which in turn served as a refuge in case of external attack.
The complex was enriched by a manor house in the eighteenth century.
The proximity to the natural reserve of Lake Piano, a pedestrian and cycle path that connects Porlezza (Lake Lugano) and Menaggio (Lake Como) and the unique character of the town make this property truly special.
