Dream Villa – Lake Como
Straight from the dream book, a property of immense charm appears: this unique villa was born from the careful renovation of an old Art Nouveau greenhouse built in 1901, with an iron and glass structure, inspired by the model awarded at the Paris Exhibition of 1900.
The renovation of the greenhouse, which lasted from 1985 to 1990, transformed it into a home, with the approval of the Superintendency of Cultural and Artistic Heritage. Due to its uniqueness, the villa is often cited in books and articles on the treasures and beauties of Lake Como.
The villa is surrounded by a wonderful flat private park of almost 10,000 square metres. From each side of the property you can perceive the park and this creates a wonderful sense of continuity between the interior and exterior of the villa, which gives a sense of absolute tranquility.
The villa is on a single level: the entrance leads into a finely furnished atrium, over 8 meters high and with an extremely scenographic trompe-l’œil, perfect for the environment.
